Here's a story of a girl,
Living in the lonely world,
A hidden note, A secret crush,
A little boy who talks too much.

Well, I'm standing in the crowd,
And when you smile I check you out,
But you don't even know my name,
You're too busy playing games,

And I want you too know,
If you lose your way,
I won't let you go.

If I cut my hair,
If I change my clothes,
Will you notice me?

If I bite my lip,
If I say hello,
Will you notice me?

its the eve of the eve of Christmas :P but the flyer just had to break down...just because of a small fire...(a fire can do anything, so kids, do not play with fire)

lol..just kidding..back to serious reports...

4.50pm is the exact time when the Singapore flyer stopped turning, trapping 173 people in its 28 (or more??) capsules. the cause: power to one of the wheel's drive units was cut off after an electrical fire which then cut off all the power.

Dive Marine and the SCDF were called in and they managed to rescue some 10 people out of the capsules by using rope harnesses, with two of them taken to the hospital.the flyer only started moving again at around 11.10pm.

i think it is a good thing that they rescued people of while the flyer was not moving, but i think the way the did it was quite unsafe. although the used two ropes, they may not truly know if the person who is supposed to be lowered down, is afraid. one lady was crying while she was being lowered down. this shows that although the person may say that he or she is not afraid, it may be otherwise..
also, why would such an accident happen in Singapore and Singapore only?? the other countries do not have such or so many problems with their own flyers. why make our country an exception? the authorities may want to have a look at the other designs of flyers and try to make ours safer. if such accidents were to happen again, how would the flyer still be able to attract foreigners like how they anticipated??

Will you ever notice me...
